LaufsED collaborated with specialty metal fabricators Fittkau to provide substructural steel engineering for the art installation Palafit by Berlin based artist Anna Talens. The almost 7 meter long and 4 meter high modular stainless steel frame carries a high-gloss skin made of specially folded golden stainless steel sheets. It has been installed in the waters of CaixaForum, Valencia designed by the world famous architect Santiago Calatrava.
