565 Broome Street is a luxury apartment building located in one of New York’s most historic neighbourhoods – Soho. Due to city requirements, the space between Renzo Piano’s two SoHo towers had to be enclosed. To accommodate complex movement between the towers, our design utilizes a unique multi-axial sliding hinge joint system hidden at each connection point.
