Eero Saarinen's last work was a mega complex designed for Bell Labs--a major initiator of modern innovation they could be regarded as the Apple of their time. The Bellwork complex built would make every floor-plate over 2 million sq ft in area. Today it is being reimagined as a miniature city within Holmdel NJ, drawing new industries like Nvidea’s numerous restaurants, a buffet of tech offices, and a rooftop hotel. LED’s contribution has been crucial to the renovation process, engineering the underground parking, converting existing lower floor roofs into open green spaces for tenants, and providing full engineering for the new roof hotel.
