NYSCI Design Lab

Our collaboration for the NYSCI Design Lab consisted of three unique structures in wood, steel, and ply. Simply put, we engineered a playground for children. All three of the structures were intended to have different occupancy requirements though: one acts as a stage for artistic expression, another as a laboratory for circuits engineering, electrical experiments, and scientific crafts: while the final structure is a treehouse purely for exercise, play, and physical injury. Of course safety was the special design consideration we closely followed. All components to the designed structures were made to be friendly and safe to our young occupants to guarantee only positive experiences.
