LaufsED provided full structural engineering support to the architects for the design and realization of a new lakefront residence at Steinitzsee, just outside of Berlin. The two-story, 240 m² home is designed without a basement and features a robust reinforced concrete structure combined with KS masonry walls. High-performance triple-glazed windows ensure excellent thermal efficiency and comfort, while the structural system was carefully coordinated to balance durability with the architectural vision for a modern, light-filled lake house.
