LaufsED is providing façade engineering QA/QC services for the ETFE roof canopy at the new stadium for the New York City Football Club currently under construction at Willets Point in Queens. Designed by HOK and delivered by Turner Construction, the lightweight single-layer ETFE system is supported by a network of tensioned stainless steel cables, creating a transparent canopy that shelters spectators while maximizing daylight within the stadium.
