The billowing form is tessellated into triangular grooves giving its dynamism the appearance of crystallizing. - [Furman Street](https://laufsed.com/project/furman-street/) - 10The design concept for these two residential sister towers references the forms of manufacturing buildings common to the neighborhood of DUMBO. Within this context, and faced with the complex problem of establishing iconic branding for a one-off flagship store, the designer drew over an austere concrete - [Idea Tree](https://laufsed.com/project/idea-tree/) - The Idea Tree is a 20’ tall canopy in tubular steel radiating out to form large rings which host cable-net and polycarbonate “leaves”, scattering light and gently fluttering in the wind. The tube diameter is optimized to allow the structure to appear feather-light.
