Pleated Inflation

Pleated Inflation is a vaulted structure for an amphitheater in the South of France by the sea. It utilizes pleating in conjunction with double-curvature to enhance structural performance and achieve stasis as a self-supported shell. The billowing form is tessellated into triangular grooves giving its dynamism the appearance of crystallizing.
